Wind power generation is very interesting to me I have discovered 2 different catagories of wind turbines the common horizontal type you see in the large wind arrays for commercial power production and the Vertical types that perform well in varying and low wind speed. | Horizontal wind gereration lends itself more readily to the small time wind farmer such as myself, interested in off grid living or simply supplementing my power needs. This type of wind generation yields decent power in turbulent winds and low power winds. |
